Wild Country Maple Syrup was established in 1995 by Jim and Marianne Cordes, Chris Cordes, and Larry and Kirstin Waddell. This family run business has been producing maple syrup since the early 1980's. Their 320 acre sugarbush in Lutsen, Minnesota has nearly 12,000 taps, making it the largest syrup producing sugarbush in the state of Minnesota.
