About Vicopisano
Vicopisano Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by the Bovoli Family in the municipality of Vicopisano, which is situated at the base of the mountains surrounding Pisa in Tuscany; 2800 organically cultivated Frantoio olive trees are harvested by hand when ripe and immediately pressed at the Rio Grifone Mill on the Bovoli estate. The olives are defoliated, washed in water, cold pressed and crushed by a traditional granite millstone. Vicopisano extra virgin olive oil is amber-colored with a delicate sweet flavor of vanilla and apple. Its extremely low acidity gives this oil great versatility.
