Rustichella d’ Abruzzo Chestnut Tagliatelle Egg Pasta


In the fall and winter, northern Italians enjoy pasta made from chestnut flour, an ingredient that is more costly than semolina or other wheat. We adore it with fresh sweet cream, butter chanterelles and sage. Or try pairing it with duck or wild game. An excellent vegetarian pasta with roasted pumpkin, leeks and chopped whole chestnuts.

This artisanal pasta is produced in Italy by Rustichella d’Abruzzo with selected durum wheat semolina, extruded through bronze dies and air dried fro 56 hours. These traditional elements give our specialty pasta its own taste.


Pair with seasonal mushrooms, roasted kabocha squash or pumpkin, or greens and cream.
