About Radici of Tuscany Whole Grain Organic Farro della Garfagnana IGP
From Garfagnana in the province of Lucca, this whole grain farro is the mother of all grains. Naturally high in fiber, protein, and B-vitamins, it is also very low in gluten, which is good for those who are allergic. Farro grains look like brown short-grain rice, but each grain retains a firm, chewy texture even after overcooking. Our organic, whole-grain farro, is simply husked and unpolished before packaging to maximize flavor and nutritional value. Nutty flavor and “wheat berry” consistency; good for salads, soups, and meat dishes.
