Pizza Romana begins in the small town of Visso in the Marche region of Italy. Natural spring water from the local national park of Sibillini is used to make fresh dough, which is slowly fermented for 24 hours, hand-stretched, then baked in wood-fired brick ovens.
Our Pizza Romana Roasted Garlic Pesto Pizza with Gorgonzola and Walnut is awesome with halved grapes or pears and crispy pancetta. Also try adding sautéed greens like escarole to the top.
