Originating from a family recipe in Ohio, MAMA LIL'S was born when a young man, fresh out of college in Washington stumbled upon a beautiful batch of the same Hungarian Goathorn Peppers his mother would pickle back home. As it turned out, the dry, hot days and cool summer nights of Central WA allowed the peppers to ripen to their fullest color potential, producing hues of greens, reds and oranges. Shortly after he received his mothers recipe, gathered 250lbs. of peppers from the cascade Mountains and settled down in the Seattle Unitarian Church where he and his friends spent the weekend deseeding, pickling and packing the first 250 jar batch of Mama Lil's Peppers in Oil.


Garnish sandwiches or drizzle over bratwursts.
