Girlscantell is a Philadelphia-based creative screen-printing business that features original illustrations and diagram designs printed by hand, one at a time. Harnessing her formal training in architecture and her love for the ordinary, founder and artist Sara Selepouchin has produced a series of diagrams of awesome everyday objects (she’s inspired by banal things like a bakery window, a light fixture, a great vintage dress, a construction site, old brickwork, a rusty neon sign –you get the picture).
It is important to note that each item has slight variations, to make one of a kind awesomeness. Due to the nature of hand silk-screening, lots of factors effect how each individual print turns out. Though Sara does her best to make lovely, amazing prints, not every towel is alike or completely legible – we think it ads to its integrity… like any other piece of art.
