History of Company

Born as the college project of Alexander Palermo in 1992, Divine Pasta set out to create hand crafted pastas and sauces made only from the best ingredients. While his original intentions were to distribute these products to the finest restaurants around town, he quickly adapted to provide his food directly to you via Cube, a café and marketplace serving to showcase his retail gourmet product while providing a testing ground for new concepts.

History of Product

This aromatic green –also known as Wild Rocket in Italy thanks to it’s peppery kick –finds it’s origins in Rome but is now popularly produced around Europe, most concentrated in Veneto. While it’s seed oil is often used for natural medicine the leafy part of the plant is abundant in Vitamin C and Potassium (and we thought we were tied to bananas for the rest of our lives). We toss it in with a bit of garlic to confront that otherwise hostile attack of bittery spice, then proceed as normal with a few walnuts, a sprinkle of Parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil.

The garlic and the pepper of the arugula will come into their own when paired up with a few roasted bell peppers in a linguini dish.

Swap the tomato sauce on your homemade pizza for pesto and you’ll open up a world of possibilities for new toppings.
