Near the French border amidst the Italian Alps is the small town of Elva where Floriano Turco produces this truly artisinal honey. He used to sell insurance to some of the best Barolo producers in the area but now collects the comb of local bee hives and makes honey on his family land. For 5-6 months Floriano moves up into the hills of his family's land and lives in a cabin with no electricity or running water where he gathers this pure and bio-organic honey.
