Originally founded in Bolzano in 1823 by Johann Lageder, the Alois Lageder estate and wineries have been managed by the Lageder family for the last five generations. Their focus is to produce the highest quality wines possible from the Alto Adige region -offering a variety of sites, exposures, soils and microclimates -while still maintaining a respect for nature. They now operate wholly under biodynamic regulations and aim to produce wines that emphasize the unique characteristics of the grapes in their region.
