Nestled in the heart of Ortovero, the Durin Winery is 16 hectares of a well-organized terrain of vineyards that spans Liguria. Antonio Basso, the owner of the winery, tends to focus his efforts on local varieties of grapes like Pigato and Vermentino. All in all, their goal has always been and always will be to effectively represent and emit their emotions and feelings with every single bottle of wine that they produce.


We like this 2009 Durin Pigato with lighter salads that incorporate shaved pear (trust us) or a citrusy flounder.
