2009 Brovia Roero Arneis White Wine from Piedmont

This 2009 Brovia Roero Arneis White Wine from Piedmont is like a Sauvignon Blanc in that it is crisp and refreshing. The finish is much more of an almond and warm sense rather than the typical greenness of Sauvignon Blanc. It's great with creamy dressing salads, or sea trout with sweeter citric accompaniment.

Since 1863 the Brovia's have been establishing Barolo vineyards for their estate all throughout Piedmont. Now, they have currently hold a vast array of vineyards including Castiglione Falletto, Rocche, Villero and Garblèt Sue', Ca'Mia and many others. Their philosophy has been and always will be to create Barolos with personality and distinguishing characteristics.

We like this 2009 Brovia Roero Arneis with a shaved apple salad and faro or a hamachi crudo with yuzu citrus.
