It is a red wine with a big, alcoholic flavor bomb with some finesse. It's a great value if you are looking for an experience in itself.
Size: 750ml
Region: Veneto
Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rhondinella, Croatina
Since 1996, Roccolo Grassi has been Bruno Sartori’s most successful vineyard. While the estate prides themselves on their Amarones, they also have vineyards in Valpolicella and the Soave D.O.C., just to the east, allowing the them fruits of both reds and whites. Of their 32 acres, 22 are dedicated to reds, the most sought after being the Amarone.
Try it with creamy stinky cheeses, gnocchi with cream and braised beef.
