It's an easy drinking bigger bodied wine that will please most palates if you're expecting inexperienced wine drinking guests.

The first grapes were planted and plucked around 1880 when Andrea I Pandolfo bought 150 acres of land in Cape Bon, Tunisia. In 1938 all of their vines were destroyed by a disastrous plant disease. A few years later in 1964 the president of Tunisia decreed that all foreigners be exiled from their land which led the Pandolfo family to move back to Italy where they bought a small plot of land in Terracina. Now, the Sant' Andrea farm is managed by Gabriele Pandolfo and his wife Enza along with their son Andrea III.
We like this 2005 Sant Andrea Sogno with strong, pungent cheeses or anything that you plan on covering in gravy...turkey perhaps?
