Mounted atop Bricco Ravera, a small hill in the Langhe area of Piedmont, sits the Elvio Cogno winery in an 18th century manor amidst a mere 11 hectares of vineyards. For four generations the Cogno family has been cultivating some of the finest wines of Piedmont as they have learned to integrate the traditions handed down from Elvio through the generations with an innovative technology introduced by Elvio's daughter Nadia Fissore. Through very low yields, and careful vine management, they estate now produces nebbiolos, barberas and dolcettos that will be certain to leave a lasting impression on any person who tastes it.
