At the beginning of the 20th century, The Cotroneo family acquired a new piece land in the Ciurica, Rivolta and Roseto contradas areas, giving birth to one of the largest farms of Benvento's province. It wasn’t until 1991 that two of their children, Mario and Bruno, inherited a piece of the 120 hectare land and turned it into "Ciurrica s.n.c.” Finally, in 1997 a third generation Cotroneo, Paolo, decided to blend the native grapes of the land thereby giving birth to what we know and celebrate as the Fattoria La Rivolta today.

We like this 2004 La Rivolta Agliancio del Tuburno Red Wine from Campania with a nice hanger steak with charred radicchio.
