Since inherited by Aldo Vajra in 1972, this land on the West side of Barolo Common, in Vergne Piedmont, has been passed down from generation to generation. Now, some of Piedmont’s finest Barolo is cultivated from the naturally calcareous marl, white and blue soil native to the region.


We like this 2003 G D Vajra Langhe Freisa Kye with bollito misto or agnolotti with white truffle oil.
