Cube Selection Birdseye Chilies from Africa 2.5oz. Birdseye Chilies are a pantry staple for me. I use them all the time. One of these little guys spices up tomato sauce, spaghetti aglio, gives my chili a punch in the gut and makes the rub for a roast chicken just a little more interesting. They are a small chili pepper, harvested at an inch in length and matured from green to red or purple in color. They're a popular ingredient in Southeast Asian, African, Spanish, and Portuguese cooking. A very hot little pepper. I recommend wearing gloves or covering your hands in baggies before crushing them.
