To face the challenge of a disappearing industry in the Campania region, Francesco Vastola, the owner of Masseria Maida, dug into his family’s traditional recipes and took advantage of a still unspoiled region of Italy to produce his outstanding preserves. Masseria Maida is located in Campania, near the Cilento National Park and just around the majestic ruins of Paestum. The favorable soil and climate in this region of Italy allows Francesco to grow fruit and vegetables of the highest quality and flavor.
